You can always listen to your digital audio directly on your computer, but you may also want to sync the files to a mobile media player (like an iPod or Zune, etc.) or even burn the audio files to CD.
It is very likely that the optical drive on your computer can burn audio CDs for you; of course you will need to have a CD writer installed on your computer and you will need the correct CD media. Check the documentation for your computer and optical drive to learn more about burning audio CDs.
Because we do not manufacture any type of optical drives and there are thousands of different system combinations, we are unable to give specific instructions on burning our download files to CDs. However, download files from christianaudio are NOT DRMed or limited in any capacity and are fully capable of being burned to CDs.
There are several methods of burning your CDs offered on your burning software. It is recommended that you select Audio Burning instead of Data for burning CDs to be played on your car CD player (Data burning would make a less compatible MP3CD).
Follow any on-screen prompts to burn the files to CD. Many programs will have you click an additional confirmation button to finalize the burn. If you skip this step, the CD may not play in all CD players.
Insert the CD into your car or home stereo system for a test run. In most cases, the disc should play just like a commercial audio CD. If your stereo cannot play the disc but your computer can, that means the stereo system is unable to decode the files and you will need to use a different format.
Another point to consider is that many stereo systems cannot read CD-RWs (Re-Writable disk) and we recommended that you use CD-R to burn files for us in a home stereo or car CD player.
You can also choose a slower burn speed (such as 8x) to potentially get a better sounding / quality final product.
